Chief Minister Sacks Two Ministers in Major Government Reshuffle

In a dramatic turn of events, Isle of Man Chief Minister Alfred Cannan has sacked two of his cabinet ministers in what he described as an effort to 'redefine the government's approach to priorities'.

Dr Alex Allinson lost his role as Treasury Minister, while Dr Michelle Haywood was removed as Minister for Infrastructure. The reshuffle comes just seven months before the general election.

Speaking to Tynwald, Cannan defended his actions, stating that businesses had 'lost considerable confidence in the government' and that a reset was necessary to restore trust in the island's economic leadership.
